The flat open aspect of the first three miles was embraced by those taking part and in particular it was noticeable from the many post race comments that lots of runners enjoyed the two way section as it gave them the opportunity to see other both in front and behind!
If you have not taken part in the Wirral Half Marathon or 10K race before then both course offer an excellent opportunity for PB's as the routes are very flat, following a course along the Wirral coastline overlooking the River Mersey.
If you are looking for a good time then this event is for you.
Wirral's biggest road race event offers real PB potential along a flat and fast course for both 10K and half marathon distances along the waterfront overlooking the River Mersey and Irish sea.
The half marathon is also the final leg of the 3 day Whistle Stop Tour Of Wirral which sees 350 runners racing over different distances on consecutive days leading up to 9th September.
What’s the cost?
The Standard entry fee for the Half Marathon is £30.
The Standard entry fee for the 10K is £25.
Race packs will be sent out approximately three weeks before the race date or as when received after that date, subject to entries still being taken.
We CANNOT take event entries over the phone.

You enter the BTR Wirral Half Marathon & 10K on the understanding that once the entry is accepted it is not possible to provide refunds, deferments or entry transfers. Changes in personal circumstances prior to the event cannot be taken into account. This includes injury or any other medical condition arising once your entry is accepted.
Standard debit / credit card rights are maintained for seven days after entry.
PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE WIRRAL HALF MARATHON if you wish to do the Whistle Stop Tour of Wirral as the half marathon is included in the Tour entry fee.
