Participants will get the chance to snap your victory photo pitch side with their official 2025 medal.
New for 2025 – we're excited to introduce the 1K Fun Run, designed to engage young participants, families, and anyone who prefers a shorter distance, all while supporting the work of the LFC Foundation.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a passionate Liverpool supporter, or simply looking for a fun and inspiring way to stay active, the Run to Anfield offers something for everyone – and it’s all in support of the LFC Foundation.
What’s the cost?
The 5K Entry Fee is £26 + booking fee
The 1K Entry Fee is £15 + booking fee
FUNDRAISING: Participants are encouraged to achieve a fundraising target of £150 for the LFC Foundation via the Run to Anfield Just Giving campaign. This is over and above your registration fee of £26.00. All participants should sign up to the Just Giving ‘Run to Anfield’ event page and where money has been collected by you all of the money you raise for the Event must be paid to LFCF within 28 days after the Event Date (even if you do not participate in the Event for whatever reason).
Full instructions on how to set up your Run to Anfield Just Giving page will be sent to you by the LFC Foundation upon completion of your registration.
T-SHIRTS: Everyone taking part in the Run To Anfield 5K & 1K will receive a special commemorative t-shirt to wear on the day.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Is there an age limit to enter? No, the event is officially classified as a fun run so there is no lower restriction on age to take part. It is expected that anyone under the age of 13 should be accompanied by a parent of guardian.
How far is 5K? The 5K distance equates to 3.1 miles.
How far is 1K? The 1K distance equates to 0.62 miles.
Do I have to run the full distance? The aim of everyone taking part should be to run or jog the full distance but it is not compulsory. Enjoying the day is a priority!
Can I bring my dog? Unfortunately dogs are not permitted to take part in this event.
Is the event timed? No, as the event is classified as a fun run the event is not officially timed although the course distance is accurate to 5K and 1K, everyone is welcome to time themselves to see how well they do.
Is there a closing date for entries? The event entries remain open until all available places are taken up.
Is there a limit on entries? Yes, there is a strict limit of 2,000 places and once they have been allocated then entries will close.
Where is the start and finish? The start and finish line will be on 97 Boulevard and the course will be mainly in Stanley Park.
What time does the run start? The Run To Anfield 5K will begin at 9.30am the 1K will start approximately at 10.30am
Where can I park on the day of the event? If you are traveling to Anfield by car on the day of the event then the best place to park will be in the main car park in Stanley Park.
How do I set up a Run to Anfield Just Giving Page? The LFC Foundation will contact you via email with full instructions on how to set up your just giving page within 48 hours of your successful registration.
What happens if I don't achieve the fundraising target? Participants are encouraged to fundraise to a target of £150. This is a suggested fundraising target and will not prevent you from taking part in the run. The work of the LFC Foundation provides life changing opportunities for young people and families both home and away. Through fundraising undertaken at events like Run to Anfield we have supported almost 127,000 people last season.
